CJ is a student pilot, outdoor enthusiast, artist and lifelong believer that the best communities are built by people willing to give a little more than they have to. Her career spans nearly 24 years in the nonprofit sector, outdoor industry and consulting, where she has helped mission-driven organizations celebrate the people behind their work.
Though still early in her flying journey, CJ is deeply inspired by the generosity and camaraderie she’s already found in the aviation community. She looks forward to the day she can fly into RAF airstrips herself and advocate for the protection and access of these wild places—both as a pilot and as someone who deeply admires the people who steward them for others. Outside of work and flight training, CJ can often be found backcountry skiing, ice climbing, or bikepacking through the Rocky and Cascade Mountains, usually with her senior pup, Radar, in tow.
